Biography: Rutendo Patricia Kamudzandu, MSN, AGNP-C, a board-certified adult/gerontology nurse practitioner, earned her Master of Science in Adult-Geriatric Nursing from the Research College of Nursing in 2013, following a BSN from the University of St. Mary, KS, on the Dean's List, and a B.A. in English Literature with a minor in Shona Language from the University of Zimbabwe. Her dedication to nursing includes teaching roles at Avila University and the University of St. Mary. Before joining us in 2024, Mrs. Kamudzandu practiced at Family Care of Independence, Centerpoint Internal Medicine with HCA, and Midwest Geriatric Physician Group, providing comprehensive care for seniors. Her earlier positions include PRN at Blue Springs Urgent Care Clinic and PRN hospitalist nurse practitioner at Centerpoint Medical Center with EMCARE. Passionate about heart health, nutrition, and exercise, she believes in building trusting relationships through attentive listening to enhance her patients' well-being. Mrs. Kamudzandu chose healthcare to safeguard seniors' quality of life, a population she holds close to her heart. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.

Biography: Nancy Stepanek, ANP-BC, joined CenterWell as a board-certified adult and psychiatric nurse practitioner. Ms. Stepanek earned her BSN from St. Luke's College of Nursing and Health Sciences, her MSN and ANP from Vanderbilt University, and her Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner post-grad certificate from the University of Missouri, Kansas City. Before joining CenterWell, Ms. Stepanek spent a year with CrownView Medical Group and 11 years at Southland Primary Care. She believes that listening is vital to ensuring patient satisfaction and that her role is to assess and provide a treatment plan, knowing that patients have the right to make decisions about their health. For her, the right provider-patient relationship is whatever works for that patient, and her philosophy of care is to do her best for each one. Ms. Stepanek has spent most of her life caring for adult patients. As a nurse practitioner, she has treated seniors in primary care, psychiatric and skilled nursing, long-term care, and assisted living. Ms. Stepanek chose healthcare to help others. A mom of six and a grandmother, in her free time, enjoys life with her family, taking walks with her husband and reading.
