Biography: Julie Mays, NP, cares for children as if they were own as a board-certified pediatric nurse practitioner (Pediatric Nursing Certification Board) at WK Pediatrics Ruston. The clinic is affiliated with Willis-Knighton Health System and serves young patients in north Louisiana. Mays enjoys working with children for all their needs, everything from well visits that are fun, interactive and educational; to sick visits where Mays helps your child get well quickly and shares info parents can use at home. Children with autism have a special place in Mays heart. She feels honored to build a relationship and earn your childs trust as they grow over the years. After receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from University of Memphis Lowenberg School of Nursing, Mays went on to earn a Master of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University. Away from the clinic, Mays enjoys spending time with her family outside, watching sports and weekend trips. She and her husband Zach are the parents of two boys, Myles and Davis. Mays also loves to read and almost always has a book in progress.
