Biography: Dr. Caffrey was born and raised in Kansas City and joined Independence Women's Clinic in 1996. He received his bachelor's degree in health services management from the University of Missouri, Columbia, in 1983, masters in business administration (MBA) from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, in 1987 and obtained his medical degree from the University of Missouri, Kansas City, in 1992. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Truman Medical Center-West and St. Luke's Hospital in 1996.
