Biography: Dr. Fahl Arthroscopy & Sports Medicine Surgeon Dr. Fahl is an arthroscopy and sports medicine surgeon with a focus on shoulder and knee injuries. He has cared for patients and athletes of all ages and levels of activity during his career. You may see him on the sidelines at one of the area high school football games but his experience has included caring for professional athletes as well, such as the Houston Rockets and Astros. Dr. Fahl achieves his greatest satisfaction when his patients' return back to their pre-injury level of activity. His practice includes surgical and non-surgical treatment of shoulder and knee injuries. He has extensive experience in shoulder SLAP repairs, Bankart repairs, and rotator cuff repairs. He also has extensive experience in knee ACL reconstructions, meniscal surgery, and complicated cartilage and ligament reconstructive cases. Other orthopedic surgeon colleagues in the area routinely refer difficult shoulder and knee surgical procedures to Dr. Fahl for his surgical expertise. Dr. Fahl has published research in the Journal of Arthroscopic and Related Surgery and provided numerous presentations and lectures to physicians, trainers, and students. Dr. Fahl has been selected as America's Top Surgeons and has published a surgical technique guide to assist orthopedic surgeons in MCL Allograft Reconstruction. In his time off from orthopedics, Dr. Fahl enjoys lifting weights and spending time with his wife and 4 children. Biography: Dr. Flowers is a board certified orthopedic surgeon specializing in Joint Preservation surgery, Complex Reconstruction and Deformity Correction, and Joint Replacement surgery. Dr. Flowers is a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as well as the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He is also a certified Mako Surgeon in Robotic-assisted partial and total knee replacements. Dr. Flowers received his Bachelor of Health Science from Howard University in Washington, D.C. He also holds a Masters of Physical Therapy and Doctorate of Medicine from Howard University. He did his residency in orthopedic surgery at the New York Medical College located in Manhattan. He is fellowship trained in Limb Lengthening and Complex Reconstruction at the Hospital for Special Surgery also in Manhattan, NY. Dr. Flowers became involved in this specialty because of his belief in approaching orthopedic surgery from a different angle. Instead of treating a joint after it is damaged, his approach corrects the malalignment that would lead to debilitating arthritis in the future whether it be in the hip, knee or ankle. He also has the skill set to perform joint replacement procedures for those who already have advanced arthritis. Dr. Flowers also has in-depth knowledge and skills for correcting bowlegs, knock knees and multiple post-traumatic deformities. As a first generation American, Dr. Flowers was born in Queens, NY and raised on Long Island. His family is from Jamaica, West Indies. Dr. Flowers currently resides in The Woodlands with his wife, who is a dermatologist in the area and their two children Caden and Nila who attend John Cooper School. His hobbies include mountain biking, triathlons (he is an Ironman Finisher), and auto racing.

Biography: Gregory Elders, M.D. is a board certified and fellowship trained orthopedic and spine surgeon with Texas Bone and Joint with offices in Conroe and Huntsville, Texas. Dr. Elders is an honors graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School and served as a chief resident in the Henry Ford Hospital's department of orthopedic surgery. He then went on to complete an advanced spinal surgery fellowship at the prestigious Texas Back Institute. Dr. Elders has over 20 years of experience in his field. He specializes in the treatment of a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions including sports medicine injuries, hand injuries, foot injuries and degenerative conditions and arthritis. Additionally, he has completed a fellowship in advanced spinal surgery and specializes in the treatment of all spinal conditions including herniated discs, spinal stenosis, degenerative disc disease, spinal trauma, and spinal deformity.Regardless of what orthopedic or spinal condition you may be suffering from, Dr. Elders can help you determine the best course of action to get back to a pain-free life.
