He graduated from the University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kansas City, Missouri and completed his residency at Childrens Mercy Hospital, Kansas City, Missouri. He is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Slaymaker is the medical director of the SIDS network in Kansas. Dr. Slaymaker is married and has four children and enjoys spending time with his family.
