Biography: John received his Bachelor's Degree in Health Care Management from Misericordia University in 2014 and went on to earn his Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2017. He was a member of the Men's Soccer Team and has a passion for lifting weights and physical exercise. During his clinical rotations he gained experience in an array of outpatient and inpatient settings with focusses in orthopedic and neurological diseases. Ultimately he landed a position at Professional Physical Therapy's Garden City facility. Our Garden City location is one of the company's largest, including a 20,000 square foot performance center. While treating here John rehabilitated post-operative and non-operative orthopedic conditions from some of the top surgeons across New York State. His comprehensive approach allowed him to fully rehabilitate professional athletes and your average patient alike. In 2018 John accepted a per diem position at Winthrop University Hospital (NYU Langone Long Island) in order to stay current on the inpatient side of the profession. He assists in rehabilitation of patients with, but not limited to cardiac, neurological and orthopedic conditions. He continues to work per diem on weekends with a focus in treating on the orthopedic unit. Through his efforts and stellar results, Dr. Chillo was afforded the opportunity to become Clinical Director and open the North Riverdale location in 2021. Here he plans to serve the North Riverdale and surrounding communities with the highest quality of care and assist you in attaining your goals!
