Care Philosophy: My passion is to provide cutting edge, evidenced based medical care while helping patients navigate a significant life stressor. This includes keeping in mind emotional distress (both individual and family), time management, morbidity (both diagnostic and therapeutic), financial hardship, and goals of treatment (both quantity and quality of life). Cancer patients frequently come in overwhelmed as they meet a host of specialists while struggling with their diagnoses. In the process, the fear of cancer is compounded by the fear of the unknown. My role is not only to provide the best treatment possible, but to also help them understand and adapt to their journey.
