He will only offer surgery if he truly believes it will help his patients. He does not force surgery on anyone. We will look for minimally invasive options if possible but also make sure to provide a durable solution to minimize the chances of needing surgery in the future and provide long-term pain relief. Biography: Norah A. Foster, MD graduated from University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine in Iowa City, IA. Dr. Foster completed her orthopedic residency at Duke University Medical Center in Durham, NC. She completed a spine fellowship at New York University in New York, NY. Dr. Foster is board certified in orthopedic surgery. She is a member of a number of organizations including the American Orthopaedic Association Emerging Leaders, Ruth Jackson Society, AO Spine, North American Spine Society, and Alpha Omega Alpha.

Biography: Ian K. White, MD received his Doctor of Medicine from Saint Louis University in St. Louis, MO. Dr. White completed his neurosurgery residency at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis, IN. He is board certified in neurosurgery. Dr. White is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, and American Medical Association.
