Biography: Akpofure Peter Ekeh, MD, FACS, MPH, MBA, is a graduate of University of Ibadan College of Medicine in Ibadan, Nigeria. He completed his residency in Surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. He went on to complete a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Al-Masri is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He continued his education with a Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Science from Mayo Graduate School in Rochester, MN, where he also served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Evidence-based Practice Center at Mayo Clinic. Committed to staying at the forefront of his field, Dr. Al-Masri has authored over 40 publications in prestigious journals, including JAMA Oncology and Blood. Read his publications.
