Biography: Akpofure Peter Ekeh, MD, FACS, MPH, MBA, is a graduate of University of Ibadan College of Medicine in Ibadan, Nigeria. He completed his residency in Surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. He went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care and Trauma at the University of Miami in Miami, FL. Dr. Ekeh is board certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Ekeh is a general surgeon dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-first care. He specializes in the surgical treatment of a range of conditions, including hernias, gallbladder disease, benign colonic issues, and various lumps and bumps. He is skilled in a range of surgical procedures, including complex hernia repairs and diverse abdominal surgeries. Biography: Jehad Al-Masri, MD, MSc, is a graduate of Damascus University-Faculty of Medicine in Damascus, Syria. He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Piedmont Athens Regional - Augusta University/University of Georgia (AU/UGA) in Athens, GA. He went on to complete a fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, OH. Dr. Al-Masri is board certified in Internal Medicine, Hematology, and Oncology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He continued his education with a Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Science from Mayo Graduate School in Rochester, MN, where he also served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Evidence-based Practice Center at Mayo Clinic. Committed to staying at the forefront of his field, Dr. Al-Masri has authored over 40 publications in prestigious journals, including JAMA Oncology and Blood. Read his publications.
