Biography: Jaime Giraldo Arango, M.D., FACS, is a surgeon at Christiana Care Health System specializing in general surgery, critical care, trauma and laparoscopic surgery. He joined Christiana Care following positions as an attending surgeon at regional medical centers associated with integrated health care systems in Iowa. Dr. Giraldo is board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Giraldo earned his medical degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and completed a general surgery residency at Instituto de Ciencias de La Salud, Medellin, Colombia. He also completed general surgery residency and fellowships in surgery critical care and acute care surgery at Christiana Care.
