Biography: Stephen Ou, DO, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with proficiency in minimally invasive sports medicine; total shoulder, hip and knee replacements; and community fracture care. Dr. Ou works in partnership with his patients to address each individual’s specific concerns and deliver the best care possible. Dr. Ou is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine and Western Orthopaedic Association.

Care Philosophy: He strives to partner with his patients and assist them to take a critical role in their own care and well-being. For the control of acute and chronic pain, he draws from multiple modalities ranging from physical therapy and injections, to complementary medicine and surgery. Each program is tailored to the patient, not to the diagnosis. Dr. Swedarsky has a strong formal education in electrodiagnostic testing and the use of ultrasound. He also has training in the neurophysiology of pain and practices osteopathic manipulation. Dr. Swedarsky is a veteran who served as a physician for wounded warriors, family members and veterans. After completing his residency at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, he was transferred to Joint-Base Lewis McChord, where he completed his military service obligation as Chief of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Service.

Care Philosophy: As an internist, Dr. Donald Lee specializes in primary care for adults and patients over 16 years old, and has particular interest in geriatrics and general internal medicine. Dr. Lee strives to partner with his patients in decisions concerning their care, and focuses on providing the best patient care experience possible. Dr. Lee does not see patients for pain management or chronic pain. A native of Wisconsin, Dr. Lee has lived in the Pacific Northwest for several years, and enjoys the reprieve from the harsh mid-west winters. In his spare time he enjoys reading, biking and watching football.
