His interests include bariatric surgery, hernia surgery, anti-reflux surgery and minimally invasive surgery to include laparoscopic and robotic procedures. He performs several forms of bariatric surgery to include sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, single anastomosis duodeno-ileostomy with sleeve gastrectomy, duodenal switch and revisional surgery.Outside of his professional career, Dr. Peirce loves to be with his wife and three children and is excited to return to Utah Valley. He remains in the US Army Reserves and is fluent in Spanish.
