Biography: Dr. Greg Westmoreland is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and fellowship trained Sports Medicine specialist in South and Northwest Austin. He specializes in treating shoulders and knees in addition to general orthopedics. Dr. Westmoreland grew up in the Houston area and graduated Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Baylor University with a degree in Biology. Dr. Westmoreland attended the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, graduating first in his class and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Honor Society, an honor recognizing those who have graduated in the top 10% of their medical school class. Dr. Westmoreland completed his orthopedic residency at Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia, in 2000. Training at Grady Memorial Hospital, a level one trauma center, he gained vast experience in all types of orthopedic fractures and learned valuable lessons in the conservative treatment of orthopedic problems. In 2001 Dr. Westmoreland completed a Sports Medicine fellowship at the Knoxville Orthopedic Clinic where he served as one of the team physicians for the University of Tennessee. His fellowship training focused on arthroscopic treatment of shoulder and knee problems, as well as shoulder and knee replacement for arthritic conditions. Dr. Westmoreland always considers a conservative approach to treatment first. His goal is to return the patient back to the level of activity they desire. If surgery is necessary, Dr. Westmoreland recognizes the trust a patient must place in him , and he takes great care in walking each patient through the entire process, from pre-operative evaluation through post-operative recovery.

Biography: Dr. Jacinto Obregon firmly believes that listening and engaging with patients is the first step to receiving better results for them. He considers it a truth that preventive medicine and lifestyle medicine are the foundation for a healthy life.Dr. Obregon has been a family medicine physician since 2008. He is originally from Nicaragua where he started his preparation as a physician. After completing medical school, Dr. Obregon moved to the United States and trained at Texas Tech University in El Paso where he had the experience of treating various diseases from Latin America and the United States. He credits the excellent training he experienced there for making me a solid clinician.In El Paso Dr. Obregon worked in a private practice providing both urgent care and outpatient care. In 2017, he and his family moved to Central Texas. Here he has been practicing rural medicine for almost seven years. The community of Gatesville is a chapter of his professional career that is close to his heart.In his free time, Dr. Obregon explores the outdoors and enjoys going hiking with his family. He also practices CrossFit, a very humbling discipline that he feels constantly makes him better as an athlete and as a person.Dr. Obregon has the genuine call to serve others. He is excited to plant roots in the Georgetown community and learn from his patients as he continues to become an even better professional and person.
