Care Philosophy: Spinal surgery is complex. I feel it is vital that patients understand the nature of their problem, treatment options, and anticipated post-operative course and likely outcomes. Doctors can best help patients by carefully reviewing relevant records and imaging, and, most importantly, listening and asking/answering questions. My patients find that I ``tell it like it is,`` and most appreciate that approach.

Care Philosophy: Our team's approach to care of spinal conditions is to treat the patient first. We approach each patient as an individual keeping his or her goals in mind as we develop a treatment plan. Our goal is to educate patients and their families about the different treatment options, both surgical and nonsurgical, that are appropriate for their pathology. We are then committed to providing the best care possible with both compassion and respect.
