Biography: Shealyn Cyr, MD is a board-certified Psychiatrist in Virginia who has been practicing since 2006. She completed her undergraduate work at the University of Texas at San Antonio, her medical school at Texas A&M University, College of Medicine, and her Residency at the University of Texas at Southwestern. Dr. Cyr believes in a balanced approach to psychiatric health through a model that integrates medication, wellness techniques, supplements, cognitive behavioral therapy, and thorough medical evaluation. Biography: Mamta Ojha, MD is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). She established Norvinia Health after several years of traditional practice to meet the needs of patients who want a more personal relationship with their physician and more attention to their medical care.Dr. Mamta Ojha was born and raised in Nepal, the land of the Himalayas. Her motivation and hard work paid off when she was awarded a full scholarship for her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at Fatima Jinnah Medical University, through the government of Pakistan. She graduated from medical school and returned to Nepal to work in the country's most prestigious military hospital. After serving as a medical officer, she completed her residency at Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. Upon graduation, she stayed on at Michigan State University as an Assistant Professor for four years, teaching medical students and residents. She moved to Virginia to be closer to her family and worked as an Internist for Sentara Health System before establishing her own private practice.Dr. Ojha loves Virginia and calls it her home. She enjoys socializing with friends and family, listening to music, watching movies, hiking, and traveling.
