Care Philosophy: I believe in the importance of the mind/body/spirit connection, and that the healing of each component is paramount to an individual's health and well-being. One of the most important forms of communication with patients includes listening, as well as informing and discussing with each patient a plan of care. I have trained in traditional Western medicine, and believe in coordinating care with other modalities of healing. I believe staying physically, mentally, and spiritually active are important keys to maintaining one's health and longevity.

Biography: I come from small town Kansas and knew I wanted to be a doctor and try to help people. As I attended Rocky Vista University, my eyes were opened to Osteopathic Medicine and manipulation, which I loved and continue to use to this day. I also have a sports background, participating in anything I could as a child and eventually walking on at Washburn University for football. Though sadly I was not bound to the pros, I knew I wanted to keep active in sports, and Sports Medicine allowed for that. Plus it meshes well with Osteopathic Manipulation and working with your hands. I attended SIU-Carbondale Sports Fellowship and have been practicing a mixture of family medicine and sports medicine ever since. I try to practice what I preach and stay active with my wife and two daughters as much as possible, going to the gym, walking, jogging, biking, hiking, etc. While I am originally a Midwesterner, I love what Colorado has to offer!
