Biography: Yvette Jiang, MD received her Bachelor of Science in biology with a minor in art from Montana State University in Billings, Montana. For medical school, she attended Drexel University College of Medicine. She then split her OB/GYN residency between University of California Los Angeles and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in El Paso. During her residency at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Dr. Jiang was the academic chief resident. She also participated in research that examined maternal blood pressure after 20 weeks of pregnancy. The goal of this research was to gain insight to improve prenatal care for all women. Dr. Jiang has received training in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including robotic-assisted surgery. Her knowledge and experience in this area allows her to provide her patients with access to the most-current surgical procedures.
