Biography: Abbey McGough Carroll, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician (American Board of Pediatrics) at Pierremont Pediatrics. Located at WK Pierremont Medical Arts Building in Shreveport, Louisiana, the clinic is affiliated with Willis-Knighton Health System and serves young patients across Northwest Louisiana.A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Dr. Carroll earned a degree at Samford University before attending medical school at the University of Alabama School of Medicine. Dr. Carroll did an internship at The Childrens Hospital of Alabama and her pediatrics residency at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-Shreveport School of Medicine. Dr. Carroll is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP). Other memberships include Louisiana State Medical Society and Northwest Louisiana Medical Society.Dr. Carroll practices pediatric medicine because of her love for children. She and her husband, Warren, have four children of their own. She enjoys spending time outdoors and traveling with her family. Her family is very involved in family ministry and missions at Broadmoor Baptist Church in Shreveport.

My wife, Mary Frances and I have eight children and five grandchildren. As a family, we most enjoy birthdays, vacation and sports. We are actively involved in our local church and community.
