I also earned an undergraduate degree in athletic training from Purdue University and a master's degree in physical therapy from Washington University in St. Louis. \n My "on the field" experience includes working with the Indianapolis Colts, Chicago Bulls and Chicago White Sox, as well as the athletic departments of Purdue University, University of Virginia, James Madison University, DePaul University and Wabash College. I have also authored numerous journal articles and medical textbook chapters reporting on findings in basic science and clinical research. \n Previously, I was an assistant professor and orthopedic surgeon at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. While in Charleston, I also served as the lead team physician of several local high schools as well as the Charleston RiverDogs, the New York Yankees minor league baseball team.
