Biography: Pragnesh Patel, MD, is a highly-respected practitioner in gastrointestinal diseases and complex liver and pancreaticobiliary diseases at Houston Regional Gastroenterology Institute in Texas, treating patients in the Sugar Land and Humble clinics. He is proud to call Houston his second home; he was born in Surat, India, where he earned his medical degree from Surat Municipal Institute of Medical Education and Research (SMIMER).A move to Houston, Texas, in 2010 began an intensive period of study for Dr. Patel. His post-graduate training at the world-renowned Texas Medical Center included a residency and fellowships. A residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston was followed by a move to Baylor College of Medicine for a fellowship in transplant hepatology, before finishing years of medical education with a fellowship in gastroenterology at Houston Methodist Hospital Weill Cornell.Dr. Patel became known during his training for publishing research articles in international journals and presenting at conferences. He keenly advocates an environment where patients are actively encouraged to engage with their care program.

Care Philosophy: I strive to provide the best care for active people, educate them on their options, and help then return to their desired level of activity as quickly as possible, preferably without surgery. But if surgery is necessary, I use minimally invasive techniques combined with state of the art rehabilitation to optimize recovery. I use video visits / telemedicine to minimize patient travel time and allow communication with the patient whether they are work, school, or therapy.

Biography: Dr. Bailey Griffin specializes in foot and ankle surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, as well as a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the Texas Podiatric Medical Association. Dr. Griffin is Board Certified in both Foot Surgery, as well as Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery. Bailey McGee Griffin, D.P.M., is a graduate from Baylor University in Waco, Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. She then graduated from Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa where she obtained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree. Dr. Griffin completed a three year residency with reconstructive rearfoot and ankle accreditation, at Kingwood Medical Center in Kingwood, Texas. She served as Chief Resident her third year of residency. Dr. Griffin specializes in diabetic foot wounds and limb salvage.

Biography: Dr. Praful Kaushik, MD is an Internist who practices in Humble, TX. He is 39 years old and has been practicing for 12 years. Dr. Praful Kaushik, MD is affiliated with HCA Houston Healthcare Kingwood.
