Biography: James J. Klosterman, MD joined Premier Orthopedics in 1997 after fulfilling his service commitment in the United States Air Force. He is a graduate of the University of Dayton and the Cincinnati College of Medicine, and completed his residency in Orthopaedic Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia. Dr. Klosterman provides operative care for a broad set of orthopaedic conditions, including arthroscopy of the knee and shoulder and joint replacement of the hip, shoulder and knee. He is credentialed to offer the Uniknee™ replacement option to suitable candidates. Dr. Klosterman is a member of the UD Sports Medicine Staff. He is well respected in the Miami Valley and acts as the orthopaedic consultant to area high school and club athletic programs. Biography: Jennifer Jerele, MD, received her medical degree at Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and completed her residency at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Dr. Jerele completed her fellowship at Duke University Medical Center (NC). Dr. Jerele is board certified in orthopedic surgery.

Biography: Michael G. Raab, MD received his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Notre Dame (1985), and his medical degree from the University of Illinois, Chicago (1989). He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, Springfield, in 1994, and received the Outstanding Surgical Resident Teaching award. Dr. Raab then served as an orthopedic surgeon at Eisenhower Army Medical Center, Ft. Gordon, GA, providing a wide range of general orthopedic surgery services, including trauma and fracture care;sports injuries;total joint replacement; shoulder, hand and elbow surgery; and hip, knee, and ankle surgery. He was a member of the Joint Replacement Service, andChief of the Handand Upper ExtremitySurgery Service. He was also a member of the teaching faculty for the Army orthopedic residency training program. Following four years of active duty, Dr. Raab practiced in Georgia and Ohio, and joined Premier Orthopedics in 2011. He is Board Certified in orthopedic surgery and a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeonsand American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the Society of Military Orthopedic Surgeons andthe American Association for Hand Surgery. Biography: Kathryn E. Kirk, PA-C earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from Kettering College of Medical Arts in Kettering, OH in 2018. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Health and Movement Studies from Hanover College in Hanover, IN in 2016. Kathyrn is board certified as a physician assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.

Biography: Carrie Evans, FNP earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner from Wright State University in Dayton, OH in 2017 where she also received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2006. Carrie is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She has been a registered nurse since 2006. She brought 11 years of nursing experience on the advanced care floor to her career as a family nurse practitioner.

Biography: Dr. Barrett is a graduate of A.T. Still UniversityKirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, MO. She completed her family medicine residency at Summa Akron City Hospital in Akron, OH. Dr. Barrett is board certified in family medicine. She is a member of the American Osteopathic Association.

Biography: Anessa Alappatt, MD is a graduate of Northeastern Ohio Universities College of Medicine. She completed her residency in family medicine at Indiana University's Methodist Hospital. Dr. Alappatt is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She has been with Fairborn Medical Center and Premier Physician Network since January 2008.

Robert received his Bachelor of Science in nursing from Wright State University in 2013 and his Associate Degree in Surgical Technology from National College in 2011. Robert received his Bachelor of Science in Physiology of Exercise in 2003. He is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center. He has been a registered nurse since 2013. He brought 14 years' experience as a nurse to his career as a Family Nurse Practitioner.

Biography: Angela Kohnen, MD is a graduate of the University of Dayton and the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine. Shannon received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Wright State University in 2009. She received her Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Studies from University of Utah in 2007. Shannon is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Shannon has been a registered nurse since 2009.
