Care Philosophy: I am committed to achieving the best functional results for my patients. I have a conservative and comprehensive approach to spine care. In many cases, this means maximizing non-operative treatments such as physical therapy, chiropractic treatment, acupuncture, spinal injections, and other pain management strategies. In some cases, however, there is a clear benefit to considering surgical intervention sooner as opposed to a last resort. Ultimately, I advocate that patients select a treatment plan guided by my experience to maximize quality of life.

When surgery is an option, surgical indications, goals, risks and benefits should be clear, as well as if there is a low, intermediate, or high probability that an operation will improve a patient's problem and fulfill his or her expectations.
