She is an experienced board certified surgeon who specializes in kidney, pancreas, and liver transplantation, laparoscopic donor nephrectomy, and general surgery. Her authored publications and research interests include such topics as vascular outcomes in kidney transplant recipients, organ utilization, and the development of predictive clinical biomarkers. Dr. Craig-Schapiro is an active member of several medical societies, including the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases, and the American College of Surgeons.Dr. Craig-Schapiro graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.S. in Microbiology.
