Care Philosophy: John D. Reeves, MD, is a neurosurgeon at Spectrum Neurosurgery, part of Willis Knighton Health in Shreveport, Louisiana. A Shreveport native, he graduated from LSUHSC-New Orleans School of Medicine in 1984. Dr. Reeves did a general surgery residency at the Shreveport LSUHSC campus before returning to New Orleans for a second residency in neurosurgery. Biography: Troy Vaughn, MD, FACS is a board-certified neurosurgeon at Alexandria Neurosurgical Clinic. Dr. Vaughn has expertise in all aspects of neurosurgical care, including both brain and spinal procedures, neck pain, and spinal fusion. Spinal procedures performed include both initial and revision surgery including spinal fusion. Dr. Vaughn attended Medical School at Louisiana State University followed by his residency at Medical University of South Carolina in 1998. He is a member of the Rapides Parish Medical Society and Congress of Neurological Surgeons.
