Biography: Dr. Samantha Erosa is an Assistant Professor of Rehabilitation and Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University Medical Center. She is dual board-certified in Pain Medicine and Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation. She specializes in interventional approaches to treat pain related to the spine and musculoskeletal conditions.Dr. Erosa earned her undergraduate degree in Biology from the University of Pennsylvania. She received her medical degree from New York Medical College and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. She then completed an Internal Medicine internship at Mount Sinai Beth Israel and residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at NewYork-Presbyterian, Columbia and Cornell, where she served as Chief Resident. She subsequently completed a fellowship in Interventional Pain Medicine at the University of California, San Diego where she acquired the skills to diagnose and treat a variety of pain conditions utilizing minimally invasive spine techniques, neuromodulation, and regenerative medicine procedures using fluoroscopic and ultrasound-guidance.Dr. Erosa's path to medicine began with a strong interest in the musculoskeletal system- fostered by her long history of competitive sports at both the collegiate and international levels. She understands the importance of a multidisciplinary approach to any neuromusculoskeletal or spine-related problem including physical therapy, occupational therapy, exercise, nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and targeted interventional procedures. Biography: Douglas D. Sankar, MD is Board Certified in Neurology with added qualifications in Clinical Neurophysiology, recognized by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Through an accelerated program offered at Boston University, MA, Dr. Sankar received his Medical Degree, which was followed by his Medical Internship and Neurology Residency at New York University. Dr. Sankar also completed his Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology, at NYU.Dr. Sankar brings 20 years of experience and expertise to his patients, as NYP Medical Group/Hudson Valley's Clinical Director of Neurology Department. He has special interests in neuromuscular disorders, as well as general neurology, including headache, epilepsy and stroke.

Biography: Comana Cioroiu, MD is a general neurological specialist with particular expertise in clinical neurophysiology and electrodiagnostic testing of neuromuscular disorders. She is a graduate of Columbia University and New York Medical College, and served as Chief Resident during her Neurology training at The Neurological Institute of NewYork-Presbyterian/Columbia University Irving Medical Center. Dr. Cioroiu remained at The Neurological Institute of New York for advanced training in Neurophysiology and Electromyography/Neuromuscular Disease before joining the faculty of the Department of Neurology at Columbia University.
