Biography: Dr. Kyle Joyner, MD is an Orthopedic Surgery Specialist who practices in Smyrna, TN. He is 52 years old and has been practicing for 43 years. Dr. Kyle Joyner, MD is affiliated with TriStar Stonecrest Medical Center.

Biography: Dr. Mayfield is Board Certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the United States Medical Licensing Examination. He did his Residency and Internship in Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of South Alabama Medical Center in Mobile, Alabama. He was awarded his Medical Degree in 1998 at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Mayfield's honors and awards include Alpha Omega Alpha and Phi Kappa Phi from the University of Mississippi, Gamma Beta Phi, and Phi Eta Sigma at Vanderbilt University. He was a 1990 National Merit Finalist. Dr. Mayfield was a member of the Carl G. Evers Society at the University of Mississippi where he established a Student/Faculty Mentor Program, and worked on a Professor Awards Banquet, Course Evaluation Protocols, and organized Primary Care Day for Medical Students. He has been a member of the Pharmacology Liaison Committee, the American Medical Association, and the Christian Medical/Dental Association Surgery Committee at The University of South Alabama. Dr. Mayfield and his wife have four children. He enjoys running, mountain biking, swimming, music (trumpet, guitar, and choir), computers, and reading.

Biography: Matthew O. Barrett, M.D. graduated from Florida College in 1992 and the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in 2002. He completed a residency in orthopedic surgery at the University of Missouri-Columbia Hospital and Clinics in 2006, becoming the chief resident physician through 2007. He also completed a fellowship in joint replacement at The Anderson Clinic in Alexandria, Virginia/Washington, D.C.Dr. Barrett specializes in primary and revision joint replacement of the hip and knee. He is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society since 2002, a fellow in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons. He has served as a reviewer for the Journal of Arthroplasty and has authored 11 published articles in major orthopedic journals and was also the primary author of two textbook chapters focused on orthopedics and joint replacement. He lives in Murfreesboro, TN with his wife and 3 sons.

Biography: Dr. Schweitzer received her osteopathic medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She completed her internship and residency training at Palmetto General Hospital in Hialeah, FL. She has been practicing family medicine for 13 years, and joined TriStar in 2013. She is board certified in Family Medicine with the American College of Osteopathic Family Practice. Dr. Schweitzer and her husband reside in Franklin with their three children.
