Biography: Marco B. Zoccali is a minimally invasive surgeon with extensive expertise in the treatment of the broad range of colorectal diseases including IBD, colon and rectal cancers, and benign colorectal diseases. He received his medical degree at the Catholic University in Rome, Italy where he also completed his surgical training. He then came to the USA where he did a Minimally Invasive Gastrointestinal Surgery Fellowship at the University of Chicago followed by a surgical residency at Weill Cornell Medical Center. He then completed his Colon and Rectal Surgery Fellowship at the University of Chicago. Although committed to managing the entire spectrum of pathologies that can affect the lower intestinal tract, his personal interest lies mostly in minimally invasive approaches to colorectal conditions including the robotic platform and the management of inflammatory bowel diseases. Beyond his clinical practice, Dr. Zoccali is also a prolific researcher. He has published more than 50 articles in major surgical journals including The Journal of The American College of Surgeons, The British Journal of Surgery and Inflammatory Bowel Disease, and has contributed to several book chapters.

Biography: Dr. Jennifer H. Kuo is a board-certified surgeon-scientist nationally recognized for her expertise in the surgical treatment of thyroid, parathyroid, and adrenal diseases. Dr. Kuo is an accomplished, high-volume surgeon in minimally invasive surgical techniques, including trans-oral thyroidectomy and robotic adrenalectomy. She is one of the leading international experts in ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation of thyroid nodules and spearheaded the new Interventional Endocrinology program at Columbia. Dr. Kuo also serves as Program Director of the Endocrine Surgery Fellowship Program and the Endocrine Surgery Research program. Her research focuses on the use of predictive algorithms to improve and optimize care for endocrine patients, and is internationally recognized as a pioneer in the safe adoption of new technology in surgical care. She serves as Associate Editor for the Journal of Surgical Research, and serves on the Editorial Board for The World Journal of Surgery and VideoEndocrinology. Biography: Divaya Bhutani, MD, is a world-leading expert in multiple myeloma therapies and treatment strategies whose work in this field has been extensively published. As a hematologist and oncologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Lawrence Hospital, he specializes in cancer care, blood disorders, and benign hematology. He also serves as an assistant professor of medicine at Columbia University Irving Medical Center. As an expert in myeloma, Dr. Bhutani is a member of several professional organizations including the American Society of Clinical Oncology, the American Society of Hematology, and the American Society for Blood and Marrow Transplantation. A well-respected and accomplished researcher, Dr. Bhutani has presented his work at at annual medical meetings of the American Society of Hematology and has been featured in medical journals, including Pharmacology & Therapeutics and Journal of Clinical Oncology. Dr. Divaya Bhutani graduated from Govt. Medical College, Patiala in India. Biography: Meghna S. Trivedi, MD, MS cares for patients diagnosed with breast cancer. Dr. Trivedi received her medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine, and completed her residency at the University of Pennsylvania. She went on to complete her fellowship in hematology/oncology at Columbia University. Dr. Trivedi co-leads the Hereditary Breast and Ovarian Cancer Program, a comprehensive, multi-disciplinary initiative aimed at screening, preventing, diagnosing, and treating hereditary breast and ovarian cancer. This innovative program brings together the resources of a world-renowned academic institution, including cutting-edge genomic testing, clinical trials, and experts in hereditary cancers across different specialties. Dr. Trivedi's research and care expertise also includes cancer genetics and genomics, precision medicine, and chemotherapy induced peripheral neuropathy. She is the principal investigator on several clinical trials, and has authored numerous publications in leading peer-reviewed journals.
