Care Philosophy: I practice pelvic reconstructice surgery and urogynecology with emphasis in minimally invasive surgery for female urinary incontinence and prolapse. I concentrate on laparoscopic and robotic surgery as well as vaginal and abdominal. I repair complications from other surgeries with a heavy emphasis on vaginal sling and mesh complications. Other areas of expertise include treatment of endometriosis and uterine fibroids.

Care Philosophy: My mission is to provide excellent care to women of all ages and in all stages of life. I strongly believe in a team approach with the patient and other providers who may be involved in their care. My goal is to help patients understand their health issues and educate them on available treatment options so that each patient leaves with a deeper understanding of what is causing her condition, which in turn empowers her to make the decision that best suits her needs.

Biography: Dr. Elizabeth Buescher is a subspecialist in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is skilled in the use of the laser, cystoscopy, operative hysteroscopy, and advanced laparoscopy. She completed a two year fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at the Center for Special Minimally Invasive and Robotic Surgery with Dr. Camran Nezhat. She is passionate about women's health and enjoys solving gynecologic problems. She has co-authored numerous text book chapters and medical journal articles. She has presented her research both nationally and in Canada. Prior to her career in medicine, Dr. Buescher obtained a Masters in Education from Notre Dame. She also helps teach the gynecology section for Stanford's physician assistant students.
