Biography: Dr. Parker was raised in Tennessee where he attended Tennessee Technological University graduating magna cum laude with a Bachelors of Science in Chemistry and Biology. He graduated from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in 1982 and completed his Obstetric and Gynecologic residency training at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in 1986. He then joined Lyndhurst Gynecologic Associates where his special interests include infertility, obstetric and gynecologic ultrasound, minimally invasive laparoscopic surgery and women's health clinical research. Dr. Parker is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor in the departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Obstetrical Anesthesia at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He has served as the Obstetrics and Gynecology Division Director for Novant Health Triad Region and is Chairperson of the Women's Center Surgical Committee of the Maya Angelou Women's Health and Wellness Center at Forsyth Medical Center. Dr. Parker and his wife, Marilyn have four children, three boys and a girl. He is an active member of the community, volunteering at the Community Care Clinic in Winston-Salem and at Ardmore United Methodist Church. In his free time, Dr. Parker enjoys his family, reffing soccer, water sports and commercial aviation flying.

Biography: A.J. Lewis, MD, believes in providing cutting-edge care for women with a personal touch that comes from a smaller practice. Dr. Lewis has time to get to know his patients in part because of unique, longer scheduling at their office. Dr. Lewis offers everything from prenatal care to help with gynecologic problems. From a surgical standpoint he is excited the way technology has made it possible to perform major procedures with minimally invasive methods. A Winston-Salem native, Dr. Lewis is happy to be serving the community he considers home. He and his wife, Diane, agree it's a great place to raise their two sons. He coaches baseball, serves on the board of the Winston-Salem Nationals Little League and is an avid Wake Forest sports fan.

Biography: The ability to help another person through a wonderful time, like the birth of a child, or a difficult time, like a diagnosis of cancer, makes my job worth doing every day. \n I love making true connections and lasting relationships with my patients and finding better ways to approach and solve problems. Obstetrics and gynecology offer a way to do both. Getting to know you as a whole person makes it easier for me to deliver healthcare that fits the life you lead. \n Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and animals. I am married to a wonderful man and have two amazing twin boys. We live on 14 acres where we keep two horses and three dogs. I love being surrounded by the unconditional love of my animals. I am also a big fan of live theater and visit New York City at least once a year to go to Broadway. Finally, I am an avid reader, and I always like to hear about what my patients are reading.
