Biography: Dr. Scott Robertson has been practicing obstetrics and gynecology in Shreveport-Bossier since 2000. He has become accomplished at the latest techniques for treating urinary incontinence. He has also developed an excellent reputation for using minimally invasive procedures when a hysterectomy is needed. He is committed to continuing his education on the latest innovations in laparoscopic hysterectomies. If you are expecting a baby, you can count on Dr. Robertson to care for you and your baby with a high level of expertise, even if you are experiencing a high-risk pregnancy. A native of southwest Arkansas, Dr. Robertson grew up in Springhill, LA. Robertson's Pharmacy, a long-trusted Webster Parish business, is owned by his family. His parents are Springhill residents. Dr. Robertson graduated from LSU-Shreveport before attending medical school at LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. He and his partner, Dr. Gregory Blanton, are cousins. Dr. Robertson did his residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center, where he rose to the rank of Chief resident.
