Biography: Dr. Henry Lee is Associate Attending Physician at New York Presbyterian Hospital and Associate Professor of Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College.Dr. Lee's practice focuses on medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. He has a broad interest in medical dermatology but pursues a particular interest in autoimmune cutaneous disorders and collagen vascular disorders. He also maintains an active interest in aesthetic dermatology, including,lasers andBotox. Dr. Lee provides laser therapy for the treatment of broken blood vessels (telangiectasias), age/sun spots and hair removal.Dr. Henry Lee received his Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Anthropology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He pursued his medical studies at Tufts University School of Medicine, where he received an MD-PhD degree. Dr. Lee's PhD research concentrated on cell cycle programming and survival pathways of quiescent lymphocytes.Dr. Lee completed his internship in Internal Medicine at the UCLA - VA Greater Los Angeles program. He completed his residency in Dermatology at New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, where he was awarded the Distinguished House Staff Award. During his residency he published papers and a book chapter on autoimmune cutaneous disorders.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Ritchie's research interests are in the treatment of older patients with anemia, cytopenias, myelodysplastic syndromes, myeloproliferative disorders and acute leukemia. She is interested in finding better therapies and supportive care strategies for older patients. Dr. Ritchie is the principal investigator on clincal trials investigating new diagnostic techniques, supportive care strategies and therapeutics aimed at the older patient. She collaborates with investigators in the Division of Geriatrics and Gerontology. She has been the author or co-author of many publications. Biography: Pinkal Desai MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and Assistant Attending Physician at the New York-Presbyterian Hospital.After obtaining her MBBS at Byramjeejeebhoy Medical College in India in 2005, Dr. Desai obtained an MPH at the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Public Health. Following her residency at Wayne State University, Detroit Medical Center, she underwent fellowship training in Hematology-Medical Oncology at Providence Hospital Medical Center, serving as Chief Fellow from 2012-2013. Dr. Desai was recruited to serve in our Leukemia Program to develop a clinical practice devoted to leukemia, myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN). She will be developing clinical and translational research protocols and projects in the areas of leukemia, MDS and MPN.Dr. Desai is published in Cancer Epidemiology Biomarkers Prevention and International Journal of Molecular Epidemiology and Genetics. She is the lead author and co-author on numerous WHI (Women's Health Initiative) paper proposals and has presented abstracts at national meetings. She is a member of American Society of Hematology (ASH) and American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) and has served on the ASCO University Committee.

Care Philosophy: My first priority is the patient sitting in front of me. I have a longstanding interest in cancer care and have been specifically focused on lymphoma since my father was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma when I was a medical student. At Weill Cornell, our experienced team of lymphoma specialists works together to determine the most appropriate therapy for each individual patient. Our group has played a key role in the development of many new therapies approved for lymphoma in recent years. As a result, our patients have early access to new and promising lymphoma treatments. Biography: Dr. Katy Burris is a board certified dermatologist in the Department of Dermatology of Columbia University Medical Center (CUMC) who sees patients in the Columbia Doctors Third Avenue office. Dr. Burris graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelors of Science in Public Health with Honors. She then attended the SUNY Downstate School of Medicine where she was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society. Dr. Burris completed her internship at St-Luke's Roosevelt Hospital and completed her training in Dermatology SUNY Downstate Medical Center, where she was selected to serve as chief resident during her final year. Dr. Burris is a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has published numerous articles in the peer-reviewed literature and has authored several book chapters. She has been invited to give numerous presentations in the field of dermatology at various community hospitals and academic departments, as well as at the annual Academy of Dermatology meeting. Dr. Burris prides herself on providing superior care with utmost compassion and sensitivity for all patients, and has been recognized as intern of the year at St-Luke's Roosevelt in 2008, Kings County Dermatology resident of the year in 2011, and Kings County Dermatology attending physician of the Year in 2013. Dr. Burris is committed to volunteerism, both at home and abroad. She participates in numerous community based skin cancer screening events and volunteers with several local charities. She has also traveled to Kenya, El Salvador, and Honduras serving those in need.
