Biography: Kevin Kelleher, M.D., is a board-certified family medicine physician with LewisGale Physicians in Roanoke, Virginia. He is an attending physician at an academic medicine clinic as part of the Family Medicine Residency Program affiliated with LewisGale Medical Center. In this role, Dr. Kelleher supervises resident physicians, training them to be the next generation of physician leaders. Dr. Kelleher completed his undergraduate studies at University of Notre Dame. Patterson, MD, is an Orthopedic Surgeon with LewisGale Physicians who has served the Southwest Virginia community for over ten years. Dr. Patterson graduated with honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology earning a bachelor of science in Microbiology and a certificate in Industrial Psychology. Following his undergraduate work, he earned his medical doctorate at the Medical College of Georgia, in Augusta. He completed two residencies, the first in internal medicine at University of South Carolina and the second in orthopedic surgery at University of Florida-Shands, Jacksonville. Dr. Patterson also achieved a fellowship in orthopedic adult reconstruction at OrthoCarolina, in Charlotte. Dr. Patterson is board-certified in orthopedic surgery by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS). He has more than 16 years of experience in all areas of Orthopedics, specializing in hip and knee reconstructions, both primary and revision. Dr. Patterson has a passion for teaching and has taught students, residents and fellows. He also participates on the Christian Education Committee at his church.In addition to his established patients, Dr. Patterson has offered his medical expertise on several international missions including Peru, Venezuela, Zambia, and Haiti. He completed internships at Cleveland MetropolitanHospital in Cleveland, Ohio and United States Army Hospital. He completed hisresidency at Ohio State University Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, where he alsocompleted a fellowship in infectious diseases. He is affiliated with LewisGale Medical Center where he serves as the program director of the Family Medicine Residency. As an attending physician of an academic medicine clinic at LewisGale Physicians, he supervises resident physicians, training them to be the next generation of physician leaders. Dr. Lang attended Temple University College of Medicine in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he earned his Doctor of Medicine. He then completed his residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida where he received a Golden Apple Award for teaching excellence throughout residency. Preceding his medical degree, Dr. Lang earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and Comparative Literature from Hamilton College in Clinton, Ney York. Dr. Lang is board-certified by the American Academy of Family Physicians and serves as an active member of the DEI committee and Family Medicine-Medical Executive committee at HCA-North Florida Hospital in Gainesville, Florida. He is a Major in the Army National Guard, serving in the 256th Medical Company, and has held various teaching positions at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine including associate professor, associate program director, and director of the simulation teaching lab. He has composed numerous publications, and presentations, and has attended various Family Medicine residency conferences over the past five years. When not seeing patients, Dr. Lang enjoys exercising, talking about sports, eating barbecue, spending time outdoors, and quality time with his family.
