He completed his general surgery residency at University of Pittsburg Medical Center Mercy Hospital and his cardiothoracic surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital, both in Pittsburg, PA. Dr. Houda is board certified by the American Board of Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Houda is a cardiothoracic surgeon in Dayton, OH and has a special interest in robotic surgery, minimally invasive surgery for gastroesophageal reflux and benign esophageal disorders, lung and esophageal neoplasms, and video assisted thoracic surgery.
