In my field, I do not always have good news to discuss with my patients. Honesty and compassion can help a patient and her family formulate realistic expectations, which is extremely important during the course of care. \n My husband and I live in Charlotte with our two girls and dogs, Paco and Maui. We absolutely love being outdoors, enjoy spending time by the pool, spending time in the mountains, and taking trips to the beautiful Carolina beaches with our family.

Care Philosophy: Dr Chris Guidry is dual board-certified in general surgery and surgical critical care. He serves as a trauma surgeon, general surgeon, and surgical intensivist at Piedmont Medical Center, Rock Hill. He grew up in Houston, Texas and graduated magna cum laude from Morehouse College in Atlanta, GA. Inspired with a passion to help the underserved community, he pursued his medical degree at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA. There, he began his medical school training at Grady Memorial Hospital in metro Atlanta, GA, treating patients from all areas in the community. He was inducted into the national Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society during his medical school tenure.
