Biography: Dr. Gulati obtained her medical degree from Seth G.S. Medical College and K.E.M. Hospital in Mumbai, India, followed by a pediatrics residency at SUNY Downstate Medical center. She completed my pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship at the joint program between New York-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center. She then went on to complete a year of specialized training in Pediatric lymphoma and Histiocytosis at Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children's Hospital Cancer and Hematology Centers in Houston, Texas. Dr. Gulati subsequently joined the lymphoma and histiocytosis team as an Assistant professor and worked there between 2019-2023.Dr. Gulati's research and clinical interests focus on identifying pathogenic mechanisms of pediatric lymphoma and histiocytosis through collaborative and comprehensive research projects that look at the histologic, molecular, and genomic features of these diseases with the ultimate goal of identifying potential novel therapeutic targets.Dr. Gulati is an active member of the pediatric non-Hodgkin lymphoma committee of the children's oncology group and serves as the vice-chair on the upcoming first of its kind trial for relapsed L.C.H. conducted by the C.O.G. She is an active member of the North American Consortium for Histiocytosis (NACHO) and a steering committee member of the INTO-HLH.

Biography: Dr. Rosenzweig is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Pediatrician at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Rosenzweig completed her undergraduate work at Emory University. She received her medical degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. Biography: Amer Assal MD is a board certified medical oncologist and hematologist who specializes in the use of autologous and allogeneic bone marrow stem cell transplantation for the treatment of multiple myeloma, leukemia, lymphoma, myelodysplastic syndromes and other bone marrow disorders. Dr. Assal completed his medical education and internal medicine training at NYU School of Medicine. He was also a hospitalist in the department of medicine at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center caring for patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses, including stem cell transplant patients. Dr. Assal completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine where he also served as chief fellow. He finally completed a fellowship in blood and marrow stem cell transplantation at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. His research interests center around improving outcomes of stem cell transplantation and the diseases it is used to treat. He has a particular interest in immunotherapy and studying ways to harness the immune system to attack tumor cells, while at the same time decreasing the risk of graft versus host disease. He is also interested in studying therapeutic interventions to prevent and treat relapse of disease after stem cell transplantation. He has presented his research at several national conferences and was awarded an American Society of Hematology Abstract Achievement award for his research.

Biography: Ghaith Abu-Zeinah, MD, is an Assistant Professor in Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Physician at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Abu-Zeinah earned his M.D. with academic distinction from the Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar in 2013. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine (2016) and fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology (2019) at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine in New York City.Dr. Abu-Zeinah is a Hematologist and Oncologist with a specialty practice in Myeloproliferative Neoplasms (MPN). His laboratory and clinical research is focused on identifying and developing therapies that target the malignant stem cells in patients with MPN. He received several awards for his work and presented at national conferences including the International Congress on Myeloproliferative Neoplasms and the American Society of Hematology. Care Philosophy: Alexander J. Chou, MD, is a pediatric oncologist specializing in the treatment of pediatric sarcomas, rare cancers of the bone and soft tissues at Children's Hospital at Montefiore. Dr. Chou, along with his colleagues, provides state-of-the-art therapies to patients with sarcomas in a comprehensive and multidisciplinary setting. Biography: Nausheen Hakim, DO, is a hematologist and oncologist at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens, affiliated with NewYork-Presbyterian Queens Hospital. She is an assistant professor of clinical medicine at Weill Cornell Medicine. Dr. Hakim has a special interest in the area of genitourinary cancers. She graduated from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Drexel University/Hahnemann Hospital in Philadelphia. She served her hematology and medical oncology fellowship at the Northwell Health Cancer Institute. Dr. Hakim remains dedicated to the world of nonprofit by participating on the advisory board of Unite for Health. With a commitment to working in global health, she strives to better understand palliative care barriers in not only communities abroad, but in our own communities here in Queens.
