The fellowship provided Dr. Kim with specialized training and expertise in the field of advanced laparoscopy and robotics. Dr. Kim favors a minimally invasive approach to the care of her patients, understanding that this approach leads to faster recovery, less pain, shorter length of hospital stay, improved cosmesis, and greater patient satisfaction. In addition to providing routine gynecologic care, Dr. Kim specializes in gynecologic endoscopy, including robotic surgery, advanced laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and in the treatment of women with chronic pelvic pain, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding and vulvar pain. Dr. Kim regularly presents at national and international conferences, and led the establishment of a laparoscopic training program in Ghana.
