Biography: Dr. Steven Sheng was born in Beijing, China, and immigrated to the United States as a child, where he grew up on Long Island, New York. After completing his primary education, Dr. Sheng went on to George Washington University where he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy while also obtaining a minor in Biological Sciences. After his undergraduate program, Dr. Sheng went on to serve in the New York Teaching Fellows program, where he was an educator in New York City for two years. Dr. Sheng completed the program while earning his Masters in Education from Queens College. Dr. Sheng then attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he completed his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Sheng completed his residency as a Chief Resident at The Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, New York.Dr. Sheng is committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care in both general and high-risk obstetrics. Dr. Sheng also provides a wide range of gynecological care, including annual exams, preventative care visits, early screening, infertility counseling, treatment of sexually transmitted infections, and contraceptive management. His scope of practice also includes the management of cervical, vulvar, uterine, and ovarian pathology; endometriosis; fibroids; ovarian cysts; and abnormal pap smears.Dr. Sheng has admitting privileges and performs deliveries and minimally invasive procedures at NewYork-Presybterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. Dr. Sheng is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Biography: Anna Burgansky, MD, is Site Chief for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology (OB/GYN) at NYP Westchester Hospital, and an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC). She practices general obstetrics and gynecology, with clinical interests in office gynecology and menopause. She serves as the Chair of Quality and Patient Safety Committee for the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center (CUIMC) and is actively involved in the development and implementation of initiatives to enhance patient safety and quality of clinical care. She is an active member of ACOG's District II Safe Motherhood Initiative, where she's involved in development of guidelines and implementation of strategies aimed to reduce preventable obstetrical complications and maternal deaths in hospitals across New York State.

Biography: Dr. Shinelle Caldwell-Elwin is a certified obstetrician and gynecologist.She holds a bachelor's degree in psychology from Spelman College and a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine.Dr. Caldwell-Elwin is passionate about women's health and combines her extensive training and education to help patients achieve optimal mental and physical health. Her approach looks beyond symptoms and considers a patient's overall well-being, including their lifestyle and environment.She attributes her success to her natural abilities to listen, empathize, and respond to her patients' needs. Her scope of practice includes women's health, prenatal care, routine medical exams, and treatment of various reproductive health issues.Dr. Caldwell-Elwin has made it her life's work to optimize patient care. Apart from her medical career, Dr. Caldwell-Elwin is a wife and mother to two children.In her leisure time, she enjoys reading and traveling.
