Biography: In the decade-plus that W. Scott Berger, MD, has been part of the medical field, he has built a very successful general surgery practice. He loves the variety of cases that general surgery provides but also likes the chance to delve deeper into certain types of surgeries. The areas Dr. Berger enjoys most are thyroid, parathyroid and gastric surgeries. I am a past board member of the Community Care Center, a clinic for uninsured patients. \n My wife, Michelle, shares my passion for healthcare and helping others. She's worked as a physical therapist for about three decades. Our daughter is in the health and wellness business, and creates exercise and diet plans for her patients. Our son is studying marketing and business in college. I enjoy spending time with my family, camping, golfing with my buddies and occasionally just doing nothing.
