Biography: Dr. Chen attended the University of Washington's School of Medicine to earn her medical education, after she attended the university's College of Arts and Science, earning her Bachelor's degree in biochemistry. She completed her internship at the Boston University Medical Center, learning about general surgery. Dr. Chen completed her obstetrics and gynecology residency at the New York Downtown Hospital, where she was named chief resident of her specialty. In 2005, Dr. Chen earned the Marvin Dunn fellowship program, in which she traveled to Shenyang, China. Dr. Chen joins Weill Cornell Medicine after practicing as an OB/GYNgeneralist in lower Manhattan and Brooklyn.She is passionate about women's health, and she provides care for patients that experience ectopic or tubal pregnancy, cervical polyps, acne, abnormal pap smears, vaginal discharge, sexual dysfunction, and urinary tract infections.

Biography: Dr. Maria Teaiwa-Rutherford is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist and Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Weill Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Teaiwa-Rutherford obtained a bachelor's degree from Santa Clara University and earned her medical degree at Columbia University's Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. She then completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital Center, where she served as chief resident.Before joining Weill Cornell in 2021, Dr. Teaiwa-Rutherford developed a thriving practice at St. Lukes-Roosevelt Hospital (later Mount Sinai West), where she felt privileged to be a part of many women's lives through routine gynecological care and family planning to pregnancy and beyond. Dr. Teaiwa-Rutherford was named a Top Doctor in the New York Magazine rising stars issue two years in a row and also received the Vitals Patients' Choice award. Born and raised in the Fiji Islands, Dr. Teaiwa-Rutherford has a strong interest in promoting women's health in developing countries. She has partnered with international medical programs to provide free obstetric and gynecological care to women at hospitals in Fiji and Kiribati. In her spare time, Dr. Teaiwa-Rutherford enjoys running and yoga. She lives in Westchester County with her husband and three children.

Biography: Dr. Long Nguyen is a board certified Obstetrics & Gynecology physician specializing in Gynecological Oncology practicing at NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens located in Forest Hills, NY. He received his medical degree from Ho Chi Minh City Medicine and Pharmacy University, completed his internship in General Surgery, residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology and fellowship in Gynecological Oncology. Dr. Nguyen is certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Nguyen focuses on detection and treatment of gynecologic malignancies by all modalities with interests on robotic-assisted minimally invasive surgery as well as chemotherapy. Perelman and Claudia Cohen Center for Reproductive Medicine (CRM) at Weill Cornell Medical College. Board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Dr. Kang offers patients the full range of assistive reproductive technologies and treatments in her practice, with areas of special interest including ovulation induction, in vitro fertilization, fertility surgery, endometriosis, recurrent pregnancy loss, polycystic ovarian syndrome and male infertility.Dr. Kang earned her medical degree at the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the national medical student honor society. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center, earning the Excellence in Teaching Award as a chief resident.
