Biography: Dr. Ricardo Figueroa-Vicenty is a board-certified, fellowship-trained vascular and endovascular surgeon. He completed his Vascular and Endovascular Surgery Fellowship at the University of Missouri, where he developed his expertise in advanced surgical techniques. He completed his surgical residency at Saint Luke's Memorial Hospital in Ponce, Puerto Rico, where he also served as Chief Resident, demonstrating leadership in medical education and resident welfare. His medical degree is from the Ponce School of Medicine, and he also holds a Bachelor of Science in Pre-medicine from the University of Puerto Rico at Mayagez, graduating Magna Cum Laude.For over a decade, Dr. Figueroa-Vicenty has been passionate about treating patients with vascular issues. However, he is also dedicated to researching and speaking on new vascular and endovascular developments, including the treatment of deep vein thrombosis. He has received numerous accolades, including the Young Physician of the Year and the Mercy Charism Award at Mercy Hospital and Clinics in Springfield, Missouri. His research focuses on innovative treatments, published in leading medical journals.
