Biography: Dr. Oluchukwu Oluoha is a board-certified hematologist-oncologist who cares for patients with a wide range of hematologic and malignant conditions. Dr. Oluoha trained in general internal medicine at Cook County Hospital in Chicago, IL, and went to work as an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Meharry Medical College. During his time at Meharry, he received the Faculty Award for Excellence in Patient Care, awarded to physicians who go above and beyond best practices to deliver extraordinary care. He was also recognized by residents for superior teaching skills, winning the Outstanding Teaching Award. To pursue his passion for Oncology, he subsequently completed fellowship in Hematology and Oncology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center in Memphis. Prior to joining Texas Oncology, Dr. Oluoha worked at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI practicing medical oncology & hematology while training fellows, residents and medical students. Dr. Oluoha has demonstrated a strong commitment to patient-centered care and medical education. He's also made significant research contributions through publications in peer-reviewed journals and roles as institutional principal investigator in several clinical trials including NCI cooperative group trials. Dr. Oluoha is committed to delivering high-quality patient care, improving patient outcomes and advancing clinical trials at Texas Oncology. He currently sees patients at two locations in the Houston metro area, with access to multidisciplinary care including medical, radiation and surgical oncologists, genetic evaluation and clinical trials.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Hamza Minhas is an experienced, compassionate hematologist/oncologist serving the Lake Jackson community. Dr. Minhas received his medical degree from Dow Medical College in Pakistan. He then went on to complete his residency, PGY4 chief residency and Hematology/Oncology Fellowship from Brookdale Hospital Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY Dr. Minhas collaborates with his patients and their family members to ensure they are well informed about their condition and comfortable with their treatment plan. Dr. Minhas is accepting new patients.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Shah's goal is to provide excellent medical care in a compassionate, service-oriented environment utilizing the latest medical technology. She specializes in Adult (ages 17 ) offering preventive services (including assessments to help detect risk factors and early manifestation of disease) as well as treats acute care, new symptoms, and/or chronic conditions. When indicated, she closely collaborates with the following Clinic sub-specialties to ensure you receive the care you need in a timely fashion: Cardiology, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology and Medical Oncology Diabetes and Nutrition Education. Within our Clinic building, you'll have same-day access to in-house ancillary & diagnostic support services: Cardiology studies - non-invasive, Hearing & Vision testing, Chemotherapy & other Infusion Services, Laboratory, Diagnostic Imaging / Radiology, Nutrition and ADA recognized Diabetes Education, Pulmonary Function Testing.
