Kelly Gilmore, MD, received her undergraduate degree in biology from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas, and completed her medical degree at the Universidad State Autonoma de Guadalajara, in Mexico, followed by a Fifth Pathway Certificate at New York Medical College in Valhalla, N.Y. She completed a general surgery internship at Sound Shore Medical Center in New Rochelle, N.Y., followed by residency in general surgery and fellowship in colon and rectal surgery at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.Dr. Gilmore is board certified by the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Colon and Rectal Surgery. She is a member of the American Medical Association, the Harris County Medical Society, the American College of Surgeons, the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons, the Texas Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the Texas Medical Association.Dr. Gilmore specializes in colon and rectal surgery. She has special interests in pelvic floor disorders, rectal prolapse, fecal incontinence, constipation, as well as surgeries of anal disorders to include hemorrhoids, anal fissures, fistulas, anal warts, abscesses and pilonidal disease. She also treats full spectrum of colon and rectal disease to include colonoscopies and surgeries for cancer and benign disease. She performs laparoscopic, single incision laparoscopic surgery, as well as robotic surgeries. Her research into the short-term efficacy and safety in patients undergoing transanal hemorrhoidopexy with dearterialization (THD) has been submitted for publication by The University of Texas Affiliated Hospitals in Houston.Dr. Gilmore has proudly served in the United States Army as an enlisted soldier as well as a commissioned officer. She served in multiple locations stateside as well as overseas with a deployment to Saudi Arabia. She received multiple commendations and medals to include ROTC Corps Commander, George C. Biography: J. Alan Przybyla, M.D., is a board certified general surgeon with North Pines General Surgery in Conroe, Texas. Dr. Przybyla received his bachelor degree from the University of Texas, and received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston. He completed his surgical residency at the Baptist Health System in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Przybyla is board certified in surgery and is a member of both the American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association. As a native Houstonian, Dr. Przybyla could not be more excited to be serving patients close to home. Dr. Przybyla enjoys his partnership with other surgeons whose primary focus is also excellence in patient care. He has received extensive training in advanced surgical disciplines including advanced laparoscopy, endocrine surgery and endoscopy.
