Biography: Heather Adkins, MD, FACS graduated from University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, OH. She completed her general surgery residency at Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Adkins is Fellow of American College of Surgeons. She is board certified in general surgery.

Biography: Benjamin J. Bates, MD graduated from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. He completed the Wright State University General Surgery Residency Program. Biography: Akpofure Peter Ekeh, MD, FACS, MPH, MBA, is a graduate of University of Ibadan College of Medicine in Ibadan, Nigeria. He completed his residency in Surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. He went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care and Trauma at the University of Miami in Miami, FL. Dr. Ekeh is board certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Ekeh is a general surgeon dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-first care. He specializes in the surgical treatment of a range of conditions, including hernias, gallbladder disease, benign colonic issues, and various lumps and bumps. He is skilled in a range of surgical procedures, including complex hernia repairs and diverse abdominal surgeries. Dr. Ekeh is a Professor of Surgery at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Read his publications. He has been awarded with Dayton Magazine's Dayton Best Doctor in 2022.
