Biography: Akpofure Peter Ekeh, MD, FACS, MPH, MBA, is a graduate of University of Ibadan College of Medicine in Ibadan, Nigeria. He completed his residency in Surgery at The Brooklyn Hospital Center in Brooklyn, NY. He went on to complete a fellowship in Surgical Critical Care and Trauma at the University of Miami in Miami, FL. Dr. Ekeh is board certified in Surgery and Surgical Critical Care by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Ekeh is a general surgeon dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-first care. He specializes in the surgical treatment of a range of conditions, including hernias, gallbladder disease, benign colonic issues, and various lumps and bumps. He is skilled in a range of surgical procedures, including complex hernia repairs and diverse abdominal surgeries. Biography: Michelle DeGroat, MD, FACS graduated from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and completed the Wright State University General Surgery Residency Program. Dr. DeGroat is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Breast Surgeons and the American Hernia Society. She is an Associate Clinical Professor at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine and is the Chairman of the Premier Health system-wide general service line. Dr. DeGroat is board certified in General Surgery and Breast Ultrasound. Dr. DeGroat specializes in general surgery as well as critical care medicine and robotic surgery. She has a special interest in breast cancer, including high risk breast cancer, and provides breast cancer evaluations and care and performs nipple sparing mastectomies. Dr. DeGroat also focuses on surgical treatment for colon cancer. Her otherareas of interest include hernia repair and complex hernia repair.

Biography: Bo-Kyu Kim, MD graduated from Indiana School of Medicine in Indianapolis, IN. He completed his general surgery residency at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. Dr. Kim is board certified in general surgery.
