Biography: I am board-certified in hematology and medical oncology and take care of patients who have been diagnosed with a variety of blood disorders and cancers. I was drawn to the specialty because I wanted to deepen my understanding of the biology of cancer. As our knowledge grows in the medical community, I am grateful to see new treatment options for patients and improvements in their outcomes. \n I am passionate about patient education and believe those we serve are more likely to follow through with the care we recommend if they understand the 'why' behind the prescribed treatment. Biography: I entered medicine to help people and found a calling in oncology, a field that allows me to combine the most current medical knowledge with compassionate humanistic care on a daily basis. \n I am a general hematologist-oncologist who treats a wide range of blood and cancer conditions. My clinical interest is in treating GI cancer and breast cancer. \n I believe that, regardless of how common or rare the diagnosis, each patient deserves personalized care. To me, the key to good patient care is to listen and pay attention to the small details. I pride myself on striving to provide the most thorough and attentive care to each person under my care, at each visit and at every juncture. \n My husband, daughter and I are originally from the Philadelphia area. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, traveling, nature photography and spending time with my loved ones.

Biography: Nora Arronte, MD, was born in Miami and raised in New York City. She discovered her passion for obstetrics and gynecology during medical school. She has received awards including the George Ladas Prize for Efficiency in Gynecology and an award for excellence in endoscopic procedures. Nora's professional interests include general wellness and prevention, low and high risk obstetrics, pelvic floor reconstruction and minimally invasive surgery such as the da Vinci robot. She is also fluent in Spanish. Outside of work, Nora and her husband, Julian, enjoy spending time with their daughter, Ana Lucia. Biography: I became interested in medicine as a child when I realized there was a predisposition to cancer and cardiovascular disease in my family. During medical school, members of my family were diagnosed with cancer, and that is when I made it my mission to pursue a career in oncology. Today I am board-certified in medical oncology and hematology, with a focus on breast oncology. \n After practicing in upstate New York for several years, I joined Novant Health in 2017. I love working with my patients and have continued to advance my knowledge of cancer treatments through participation in our clinical research trials program. Here, I've also found a passion for teaching medical residents. One of the key lessons I try to drive home with my students is to recognize the unique needs of every cancer patient and those of his or her family. My style of practice is patient-centric, with a strong emphasis on shared decision making to achieve the best outcome possible. \n When not at work, I enjoy spending time with family. Together we enjoy biking and spending time at the beach.
