Biography: Dr. Alberto D. Duran was born in San Antonio, Texas and raised in the Rio Grande Valley. He attended Our Lady of the Lake University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in 1991. He was accepted to The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio, where in 1996 he received his Medical Doctor degree. He proceeded to complete the Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program in the same Health Science Center in San Antonio, Texas in 2000. He has been practicing in the Rio Grande Valley since then. Dr. Duran enjoys outdoor activities, especially golfing.

Biography: Liliana Padilla-Williams, MD, FACOG was born and raised in Brownsville Texas. After graduating from high school she went to Texas A&M University for her undergraduate studies, then on to The University of Texas at Houston Medical School. She completed her residency training in Shreveport, La where she met her husband. She is currently board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and provides up to date evidence based medicine to all her patients.Her main interests involve educating her patients in living a quality lifestyle including healthy eating, proper exercise, and preventive medicine to avoid life long illnesses such as diabetes, hypertension and obesity. She feels starting at a young age will provide the needed foundation to a healthy life. She offers nutritional counseling as well as vitamin supplementation. She sees women in all stages of their reproductive life from childhood issues, to postmenopausal women.
