Biography: Dr. David Capelouto treats adults with eating disorders, compulsive gambling, hoarding, post-partum and pregnancy depression, and traumatic brain injuries. In addition, Dr. Capelouto provides gender-affirming care and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). He understands the slow healing process and provides a combination of medication and therapy for his patients. Biography: Dr. Deborah Wilkins completed her child, adolescent, and general psychiatry residency at Louisiana State University. She previously served as medical director for Structured Family Interventions, a behavioral health care agency.

Biography: Dr. Yvonne Monroe is a founding partner of an organization that became Mindpath Health. Dr. Monroe aims to offer easy access to quality, affordable mental health care for people with insurance coverage. Through her membership on committees, Dr. Monroe works to reduce the barriers North Carolinians face when trying to obtain mental health care.

Biography: Dr. Scott Griffies's interest in the relationship between the brain and body furthered his pursuit of a career in psychiatry. Dr. Griffies provides medication management, group mind-brain-body skills, and psychoeducation. He sees patients with psychological aspects of medical and surgical conditions in oncology, rheumatology, endocrine, neurology, physical medicine, and pain (non-opiate treatments). He directs programs for neuropsychodynamic and stress-related physical disorders. These programs include conditions like somatic symptom disorders, functional neurologic symptom disorders, and disorders such as fibromyalgia, irritable bowel disorder, interstitial cystitis, chronic fatigue, or other chronic neuro-inflammatory conditions. Dr. Griffies was an associate professor at Duke University and Louisiana State University, teaching psychiatry courses.

Biography: Dr. Gergory Helton is fascinated by the mind and wants his patients to understand themselves so that they can help relieve their suffering. Dr. Helton draws from knowledge gained through psychoanalytic training. He is inspired by David Berceli’s saying, “All humans have an innate capacity to heal from traumatic experiences.”

Biography: Dr. Manvir Dhillon is passionate about helping individuals from underprivileged and underserved backgrounds. Dr. Dhillon continues to pursue his interest in research, neuroscience, and the future of psychiatry.
