Dr. Dan Yahnian, DDS

I have never in my life been screamed at by any medical professional the way this man screamed at me. After being an established patient, I was having severe gum pain and bleeding so I called in to get seen the same day. Dr. Yahnian dismissed all of my symptoms telling me this was nothing. I told him my teeth were gushing blood and he told me that probably was not true. The swelling came down by the time I was in office but I was very concerned about the severe pain I had been experiencing over the last few days. As I was walking out of the appointment it didn’t sit right with me so I went back. He started screaming in my face telling me this was all in my head. He was so aggressive it was actually scary. I have no idea how he is still in practice. As a nurse practitioner myself the way he talked to his patient was unacceptable.

I have always had anxiety around going to the dentist. Dr. Dan and his whole staff were amazing. So caring and compassionate. They put me at ease the second I walked in the door. Filing out the paperwork online prior to my appointment was a huge help. They took time to explain everything in detail. If you don't like dentists you will love Dr. Dan.

David at the front was very friendly but I did not have a good experience with Dr Yannian. After I had a crown put on, I went back to him several times for weeks telling him I was in pain, taking 8-12 Advil’s a day. All he told me my pain threshold was low. Finally, I woke up one morning with my whole face swollen and an infection. I had needed a root canal the whole time. On another occasion, Dr Y recommended I get my gums lowered around one tooth so he could do work on it. I got a second opinion and the second dentist said it was actually a different tooth that required gum lowering. When I told Dr Yannian what the second dentist said, he got very angry that I got a second opinion. He raised his voice at me. Needless to say, I didn’t get the work done by him. I left the office shaking and never came back.

I am deeply disappointed in my experience with Capitol Premier Dental Group. It is the most unprofessional practice I have ever set foot in. Dr. Yahnian was evidently overbooked and arrived in my exam area late (which was fine), harried and overwhelmed from the patient sitting three feet away from me. He was curt, impatient, alarmingly rude and entirely disrespectful. I left the appointment crying; I never knew a simple dentist appointment could leave me so stressed and upset. David and Linda were great, my review is of Dr. Yahnian's poor and unprofessional services. Good riddance and good luck to the few patients they may be able to hold onto.

I have had the privilege of knowing Dr Yahnian for over 6 years. I can honestly say he is a true professional, performing exceptional dental work with a kind, compassionate chairside manner. From the welcome greeting by David in the front office to Dr Y's assistant, Xavier and his hygienist, Linda, you are always in great 'hands'.

My husband and I really think highly of Dr. Yahnian and his staff. His new location is excellent, the service and thoroughness is comforting. We trust him and his staff. They also gave us a fantastic recommendation for a Pediodontist and we are super thankful.

Dr. Yahnian has been thorough with my dental health and I can trust that he has explained all of the options for my dental treatment. He also doesn't pressure me into any particular treatment but lays out the pros and cons of each. I recommend.

Worst dentist I've ever had. Left halfway through my veneers. Total flake that is into taking pics, not dentistry.g joke of a dentistry .

My 16 year old grandson was there for over two hours for five small fillings. He said that he would not go back to Dr. Yahnian because he was clumsy, broke a tool in his mouth, & that he kept cursing. I was in the waiting room at the end and noticed that this dentist was fumbling around like he didn't know what he was doing. I thought he acted odd. The next day my grandson said that one tooth was drilled out but not filled. Good office, bad dentist!!
