Dr. Dave was my dentist for 23 yrs. Broke my heart when he retired. Desperately seeking new DDS w/his standards who takes my ins. (seems to be a big problem today re: ins.) Living on SS, can't afford to pay out of pocked. Need some help/suggestions. Thank you.

I spoke with "Mike" the office manager of 4 K Family Dental Practices, including Dr Gillenwaters. I wanted to express my strong dissatisfaction with the hygienist (not Kristen) I saw today. At the end of a rather unsatisfactory attempt at service recovery, Mike said "Is there anything else I can do to make you happy, Hon?" Needless to say, that remark made matters worse for this business.

Definitely not a kid friendly place and is not organized and not upfront with their expectation. The dentist was very grumpy with my kids. I would not go back there again.

I'm 50 now and have had many fillings and a few crowns with Dr. Dave over the last 10+ years. He really knows his craft and treats every procedure with the utmost care and attention. Of all the dentists I have seen in my life, he is by far the best. He never recommends unnecessary procedures and once he fixes a tooth, it is for the long term.
