It’s been 4 years since I have been to a dentist. Having changed insurances, I needed a new dentist. I went to Dr. Demizio and had the best experience I have had at the dentist in decades. The office staff was kind, considerate and obliging. Dr. Demizio was gentle, thorough and walked me through all of his findings. I explained my fear of dental work and he devised a care plan with me and is accommodating my not-so-flexible work schedule. I couldn’t be happier with my visit. My husband wanted me to cancel based on the reviews here. I am so glad that I didn’t!!!Don’t always believe what you read!!!

Towards the end of February I sought the services of a local dentist that accepted my Insurance. After a short search, and confirming this particular dentist accepted my plan, I went into their office to be evaluated. They took a couple of X-rays and made the determination that I needed a triple bridge and crown. At that time, the Office manager (Doctors Mother) said they would come back in a moment with a quote. A minute later, the O.M. told me the work would be $3600. I asked if she had taken my insurance reimbursement into account. I called the Dental Insurance co the day before to confirm my benefits. It is $1000 off the top and 50/50 of allowable services. The O.M. said they know how these things work and it would be more expensive if I lived in DC, saying that I was getting a deal. There is no way a practice can make a determination without working with an insurance company, unless it was going to be a self pay. It was a short back and forth with her saying that I have insurance

I have never left a negative review before for anyone; this is the first. Got veneers on front teeth, no discussion that can’t really bite down on them beforehand. They keep coming unglued, eventually put back on with 2 different color glue so they are now 2 different colors. One has popped off 5 or 6 times. Went to new dentist who wonders why they are 2 different Colors and did I want the gap left between my front teeth? No, actually I didn’t. Then new dentist comments that 2 of my crowns were done poorly and will get decay. All Dr. Demezio’s work! Facing lots of expensive work to correct.

Only dentist in area who was honest and ethical, went to several other offices who wanted to unnecessary treatment. Explained To me and showed me on x-ray that I didn’t need treatment recommended by other dentists Please go here if you value honesty.

Great Doctor and Superior Staff! I have been using Dr. Peter L Demizio for over 10 years. I had fillings, crowns, and a bridge done with no issues. The dental work was reasonably priced. The Doctor appears to accept all insurance plans. The Doctor's mother, who appears to manage the office, is a wonderful and very helpful lady. I highly recommend this Doctor! Michael Constant

My first call resulted in an appointment the next day. While there, everything seemed very pleasant, efficient, and professional. I received a referral to an excellent oral surgeon. Later on, I attempted several times to make an appointment for a cleaning. These attempts were via their website and calls to their office that ended up in voicemail. There was no response. It seems they're either not interested in my business or, have significant problems getting and responding to messages.

Horrible experience! Rude staff especially receptionist who is Dr D mother. Did not feel doctor really cared allowed his mother to act unprofessional

Staff seems to do everything to not book an appointment with you. Was told to get a CT scan, which I did and then they refused to see me again. Very odd bunch, they ought to get into another profession if they don't want to treat patients...

Dr. Demizio, the son, has done extensive work on my neglected teeth. His demeanor is soothing which is very important to me, as I am prone to panic attacks before and during dental procedures. After 2 visits the panic attacks subsided.
